THE DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL
South Molton Football Club plans to relocate from its existing Alswear Road site to a new purpose-built, expanded facility at Limers Lane on the B3226. The new site will provide two senior pitches and two junior pitches, together with associated facilities, a clubhouse, and off-road parking.
Future phases will support the wider Community Sports Hub concept, enabling other sports to join the site. The initial phase will include a running and bike track, with further plans for paddle courts and other racquet sports.

The existing site at Alswear Road is allocated in the North Devon & Torridge Local Plan for residential development and the Club have partnered with local developer – Mazzard Developments to bring forward this site, with a view to delivering a sensitive housing development comprising 2,3 and 4 bedroom homes.
